Trip To American Girl

Our friend Kelly thought it would be nice for a group of the girls to get together and visit the American Girl shop. Adrienne was offered a doll years ago from Grandma Kendra but we turned down the offer. But she was excited about the idea of having a girls day out with friends and mom without sister. Our other friends, Laura and Alli, offered to let Adrienne borrow Alli's sisters doll so she wouldn't feel left out. We joined seven other girls from school for a couple hours of fun with dolls and then meal time. Luckily, the place was relatively quiet for a Sunday afternoon. By the time we were having dinner we were basically the only ones there. It was a wonderful afternoon and very nice to have adult visiting time while the girls did their thing. Thanks again to Kelly for organizing the trip and Laura for driving. -S
