More Snow!

Ok so this time we had to appreciate the snow (3 inches at least) from in the house. It started sleeting and snowing Thursday early afternoon and didn't stop for several hours. Of course this time the storm happened earlier than expected and caused traffic problems for David. He still had to go to work, you know telephones have to work 24/7/365!! As it turns out, the last adventure out into the snow caused the girls to be sick. Well not exactly but it probably didn't help them. Adrienne came home on Tuesday not feeling well and by bedtime had a 102 fever and Kierstin was complaining of a sore throat but I'm sure it's due to that cough that made me want her to stay inside! Adrienne's fever and eventual migraine caused her to miss school and the state education test YIKES! She has strep so she's home for the remainder of the week, Kierstin just a bug thankfully. (glad to see the surgery was a success!) It's very nice to look out the window at the beautiful white stuff and it's going to stick around for the whole day plus some this time. School was delayed again 2 hours, kind of puts a cramp on getting the Spring bookfair set up leisurely, oh well we'll get it done. Guess we know how the end of the month will be: In like a Lion, out like Lamb right? I hope so gonna have a new roof by then!! -S
