Kierstin had asked about having a sleepover since Adrienne's experience in September. However, she has a minor sleep problem that prevents us from feeling comfortable letting her sleep elsewhere. A solution, let Margaret sleep over instead! Scheduling was becoming a problem though. Between sick kids, Margie's (what K calls her) gymnastic shows, and the upcoming tonsil/adenoid surgery it had to get done now!
The Dad's club from school hosts a movie night every couple of months. We all gather in the gym pjs on, sleeping bags covering the floor to watch a movie with our friends. The girls met at Movie Night, giggled and hung out with friends at school before coming home. The girls, all 3, were up past midnight. I was ready to go to sleep hours before them. Sleep was especially important because of the next day's busy schedule. The next morning we were to meet the Brocks at their church to create a gingerbread house. LOTS of Margie time, woohoo!!! Then she had to go to gym practice and parties. Kierstin had a birthday party to attend that afternoon as well.
Their church does an annual fundraiser to help out Habitat for Humanity. We wanted to do it last year but the schedule was bad or something. David was really looking forward to creating a house with the girls. It was extra fun doing it along side the Brocks, they have more experience and loads of ideas. We made it through the evening and Kierstin really enjoyed herself. Thanks Brock gang for allowing us to tag along. -S
