Every month the school holds a celebration. At each celebration over 100 student awards are given out. Some for classroom, art, music, pe, and very special Principals awards. Each teacher selects 2 or 3 students that exhibit leadership qualities and are good students. The 'specials' teachers (art, music, and physical education) select 1 student per grade level that exhibit those leadership qualities. The Principal's award is only given to 2 students per grade level that the teacher's nominate. (Kierstin was selected last year as a recipient!)
Adrienne was selected as the 4th Grade Musician of the Month. This is her 3rd year in a row being selected for this award.
Kierstin was selected as one of her classroom's Blue Ribbon Colts.
Both girls have been selected as classroom Blue Ribbon Colts every year. We are very proud of both of them. We always know they are special and award deserving but it's nice to see them recognized in front of the whole school body. Best part of all... today was party day too. Then time for a two week break (although there is that pesky surgery scheduled!) !!
