We finally have a completed hallway! Only 3 years after moving in!! I got the courage to make some decisions about how to update/change the hallway. My sub jobs are yielding the funds to do the things to the house we've been wanting to do: gutters, girls room redo, painting, front door, etc. We got started updating the play room for the girls in October. I figured the time and weather was upon us to do some painting. So after a consultation with our friends Joni and Kathleen, and the neighbor we decided on lovely sample card from Lowe's. They really should warn people that the sample cards are deceiving! But it's finished and I'm trying to get past my flaws in technique and live with the new look.

I finally got a chance to see the blog. Things have been so hectic. I'm excited to see your artistic talents come to life in the home! Can you do my house next?? I'll never forget when you, David and the girls came to visit our house the first time and David said it looked like a hotel (meaning boring and plain :) ) It's gotten better but your hallway beats my entire house.
