Happy New Year

We were lucky to receive a couple of invitations to ring in the New Year with friends this year. The girls and I visited with the Draper's for a bit before David got off work. Then the whole family headed to the King's for a night of food, fun, and friends! There's always great food and laughter when you are with the King's and their family and friends. We took Hawaiian meatballs that everyone loved at our anniversary party this past summer. Tanner loved the meatballs so much he kept asking David to refill his toothpick and then he was rubbing his tummy saying it hurt!! Six meatballs with a pineapple chunk, for a two and a half year old, that's a lot. At least they were enjoyed by everyone. I decided to have Ms. Kristi straighten my hair for the evening. The gals have only seen it like that once before so I thought I'd go for something different to end and begin the year. It completely changes my appearance, and shrinks my head by half, I was amazed!! We wish our other friends could have joined us that were home with sick kids or otherwise engaged. We had a fun evening and thank the King's for the invite. I only got a couple of pictures but here they are, including the 'funny looking' Stephanie (according to Kierstin when I got home with the straight hair).
